Welcome to the department of Civil Engineering.The department offers a full time diploma course in civil engineering. Apart from conducting academic programs, additional computer courses, seminars and workshops are conducted for the students as well as the faculty. A number of consultancy works are also being carried out. The present student intake of the department is 60.The department has well experienced faculty.

Mr. Milind Teleavane (M.E.) - Head of Department Civil Engineering

The Department of Civil Engineering was established in 2010. The department is situated on the ground floor of the main building. The department has laboratories equipped with the most modern equipments and test facilities. The department continuously undertakes consultancy projects to share and enhance technical knowledge. The faculty and students both benefit from the exposure they get through these activities. Faculties are also involved in exam related confidential work of MSBTE.

Student Corner: To create an environment that inspires a passion for student success, Student Association of Civil Engineering (ACME) is formed to keep the aim to bring together students with a common interest by hosting a number of social and intellectual events for the overall development of students.
ACME meets regularly to share ideas and discuss the issues related to academic matter. The lecture was delivered by Mr. Sameer Sonwane ,Assistant Project Manager at Lodha group of company .He has given the knowledge of “Advanced Construction Techniques” used in Construction industry.

Seminar On “Safety Measure At Construction Site”

The lecture was delivered by Mr. K.DONA BABU,Assistant Project Manager at Lodha group of companies.The main objective of his topic was to give information about safety measures during construction work which are the prime importance at construction site. He has given the knowledge about safety equipment; need to take safety measures etc. The seminar was very informative for the student’s point of view.

Purpose of visit was to give technical knowledge of Building construction and materials.

Purpose of visit to gather knowledge about laws of nature, different kinds of flowers and fauna, wild life etc.

Industrial Visit In Biomedical Waste Treatment Plant at,Kalwa( West )

Purpose of visit was to give detail knowledge about Bio medical waste and their separation with proper disposal techniques.

Industrial Visit To Vermicomposting Plant at Kalwa (West)

Purpose of visit was to provide detail information about working of earthworms to decompose organic matters. Vermicompost contains water-soluble nutrients and is an excellent, nutrient-rich organic fertilizer and soil conditioner. It is used in farming and small scale sustainable, organic farming.

Industrial Visit To Ready Mix Plant at Bhivandi Bypass, Dist-Thane

Purpose of visit to gather knowledge about production of concrete and different units of Ready mix Plant.
