About Library
The Library has a huge collection of books on engineering, science and humanities. It has more than 10,000 books, and various international and national journals. The library is provided with multi-media system to refer to the latest CD’s related to engineering and other informative subjects.
“An Open Access” system is used to all the students and the staff of the institution. This system enables the students to use it to the fullest. The fully computerized Central Library is placed in 400 m2 area. The Library uses SLIM -21 software package which is an integrated multi-user library management system that supports all in-house operations of the Library. The SLIM - 21consists of modules on acquisition, cataloguing, circulation and OPAC. The database of books available in the Library is being updated on day to day basis with details of recently acquired books. Bar coding system is used to issue and return the books. Scanning and Photo copy facility are also available for all members in the library.
